Indian Visa – Required Documents for Bangladeshi Citizens

Bangladeshi citizens travelling to India for tourism purposes need to obtain an Indian Tourist Visa. Applicants must complete the online visa application and submit the required documents through the designated Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC).

General Requirements for All Applicants

✔️ Passport: Original passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 2 blank pages.

✔️ Old Passport: Previous passports, if available.

✔️ Photograph: Recent passport-size colour photograph with white background.

✔️ National ID / Birth Certificate: Copy of NID Card or Birth Certificate.

✔️ Proof of Residence: Recent Electricity Bill, Gas Bill or Landline Telephone Bill.

✔️ Bank Statement: Last 6 months' bank statement showing sufficient financial capacity.

✔️ Financial Proof: Foreign currency endorsement equivalent to the required amount, or International Credit Card / Travel Card with supporting deposit statement, where applicable.

✔️ Online Visa Application Form: Completed and printed Indian Visa Application Form.

Business Persons

✔️ Valid Trade License / Business Registration

✔️ Bank statement for the last 6 months

✔️ Solvency certificate, if applicable

✔️ Visiting card

✔️ Other business-related documents, if applicable

Job Holders (Employees)

✔️ Employment Certificate / Letter from employer

✔️ Employee ID Card

✔️ Bank statement for the last 6 months

✔️ Salary certificate / salary slips, if applicable

✔️ NOC from employer, if required

Students

✔️ Student ID Card

✔️ Enrollment / Study Certificate from educational institution

✔️ Parents' financial documents, where applicable

✔️ Bank statement / financial proof

Government Job Holder

✔️ Government Employee ID Card

✔️ NOC / Forwarding Letter from the concerned authority

✔️ Official employment document

Housewife

✔️ Marriage Certificate, if applicable
