Canadian Visa – Required Documents for Bangladeshi Citizens

Bangladeshi citizens need a visa to visit Canada. Depending on your purpose (tourism, study, work, or family visit), you must submit documents online via IRCC and provide biometrics at VFS Global, Dhaka. All Bangla documents must be notarized and translated into English.

General Requirements for All Applicants

✔ Passport: Valid for at least 6 months, with photocopies of bio-data page, old passports, and stamps
✔️ Photographs: 2 recent passport-size photos, white background
✔️ Application Forms: Completed & signed IRCC forms (Online Application, Family Info, Schedule 1)
✔️ Fees: Proof of payment of government and biometric fees
✔️ Biometrics: Appointment at VFS Global after online submission

Business Persons

✔️ Trade license or company registration
✔️ Bank statement (last 6 months)
✔️ Solvency certificate
✔️ Covering letter explaining business purpose in Canada
✔️ Visiting card

Job Holders (Employees)

✔️ No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer
✔️ Employee ID card
✔️ Bank statement (last 6 months) & salary slips
✔️ Solvency certificate
✔️ Covering letter stating purpose and financial responsibility

Students

✔️ Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from DLI-approved Canadian institution
✔️ Student ID / Enrollment proof
✔️ Bank statements & solvency certificate
✔️ Statement of Purpose (SOP)
✔️ Academic transcripts and English test results (IELTS/TOEFL)

Non-Student Child

✔️ Birth certificate

Government Job Holder
